NSTA Outstanding Science Trade Books 2016

We took a break from this website, but we're back and ready to provide you with more regular updates and resources in your efforts to teach with text sets.

The latest list of outstanding science trade books has been posted by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). We're excited to see a lot of our favorite titles from 2015 included on this list.

For those of you who are not familiar with this list, some background knowledge: each year, the NSTA teams up with Children's Book Council (CBC) to identify the best science-based titles for a particular year. These are books with provide important science content, model great writing and scientific thinking, and are appropriate for classroom use.
